The summer when I was thirteen

With my best friend and her family,
Going on a week long trip up north,
Get to the camp site, throw ourselves out of the car,
Full of excitement to start,
Set up tents, get out the flashlights for later,
Hurry quick to get the tubes blown up,
Say we put on sun screen so we don’t get in trouble,
Strip down to our bathing suits,
Run as fast as we can to the river,
Float down the distance we were allowed about one million times,
Knocking each other off our tubes, big waves of water fly,
Lots of laughter, tons of fun, time goes quick,
The sky is getting dark, mosquitoes are biting our wet cold skin,
We are told to come back to have a bite to eat and go to sleep,
In the tent we whisper, trying not to wake the adults,
Telling scary stories and snacking on cooler ranch doritos,
Both get tired and soon rest our heads,
Flash lights off, we shortly fall asleep.

My life right now.

My life is very busy, and somtimes overwhelming. I work almost every single day. This past week ive only gotten one day off. Which I will not be suprised if I get called in that day; it always happens. I am trying to diet, and I am trying to make it to the gym everyday, but it is hard to do because between school and work I have no time at all. A diet is the hardest part because since I work at mcdonalds, and im there all day long, the easiest dinner is to just order some food from there. I have no time for friends or my boyfriend. I feel like I am losing my social life. Im so done with school. Im getting so sick of it. I cannot wait to graduate. Im mostly sick of my internship, Im ready to end that now! Im always tired because I get up early for school and then work right after school and get out late. I have a boyfriend. His name is Danny. I do not get alot of time to spend with him because our schedules collide, but it is okay, because I am still happy to be dating him. When we do get to spend time together, I always have fun. He helps lighten things up for me. He is the most unpredictable person I have ever met in my entire life. So I'm always on my toes. I cannot wait for spring break! I took off every single day from work! Im going to make sure I enjoy myself off from school and work! Then the next thing coming is SUMMER!

Tension.

Its 3:55 pm,
I walk in McDonalds,
I pass though the front,
Walk in the crew room,
Look across the hall,
I see dish area full,
“John! You didn’t do any of your dishes!”
Someone said he was standing around,
He did nothing all day,
“You frustrate me!”
It’s a nice calm day,
I go to work,
John’s in back doing dishes,
I clock in ready to start,
I do my work, not johns left over’s.

How to live..

Do not get distracted by anything,
always do your work and stay on task.

Have many friends and get along with everyone,
its not fun trying to get through it alone.

Get a good night sleep every night,
its not a good habbit to be sleeping in class.

Be involved in everything you can,
make more friends and keep busy.

Stay neat and tidy,
do not lose your homework or notes.

Have a good attitude,
everyone will want to be around you.

Stand up for yourself,
don’t let anyone judge you.

Always be creative and make it personal,
have fun with everything you do.

Stand out and be yourself,
don’t be someone you’re really not.

Have fun,
live everyday like it’s your last.

The girl does not look like she is falling, it looks like she is being lifted up. My first thought was exercist. It looks like there is a sort of wind coming at her because her hair is flying behind her. She is wearing a white long dress, so maybe she is an angel. There is something on the bed, it sort of looks like dirt from a plant in a pot or something. The look on her face looks focused. She looks as if she were light as a feather. The light shining into the room is bright. It looks as if it was light from heaven or something.

When I look at the picture I think of the Polar Express. It looks like an old picture. There is snow on the ground. It looks like it was taken at the end of winter. It is nearby a city because there are poles, that look like they have power lines. There are a lot of dead trees in the background. The color of the picture is black and white. The black and white gives the effect of it being very cold. The trees are not swaying, so I do not think there is any wind at the time the picture was taken. The rail road track looks new because it looks like it is shiny and fine.
